Years ago the Hungarians used ceramic vessels to keep safe important documents that, once rolled up and inserted via a tiny opening, could only be retrieved by breaking open the container. An intact vessel was therefore proof that the contents were genuine and true to the author.

Inspired by the simplicity of this idea, the Promise Keeper was created as a time capsule to hold a couple's shared hopes and dreams for their lives together - to contain a timeless record of their love of each other, a gentle reminder of the beauty of genuine commitment.  Notes in the form of vows or promises, from one partner to the other are rolled up tightly and posted into the keeper via a tiny opening, once inside they unravel and so – they cannot be retrieved… In this way, true feelings of the heart are gently held within the keeper forming a subtle symbol of a couple’s commitment to each other.

This ancient idea is powerful allowing the Promise Keeper to be used as a companion to marriage vows, a lovely way of  giving a special sense of occasion to a commitment ceremony or a unique way of renewing your vows on a special anniversary.

The Promise Keeper captures  that moment when we truly give our hearts to each other.
